History
TradeMaven Group, LLC was formed in November 2005 and
is the result of a merger between eLocal, LLC and TradeMaven, LLC.
ELocal was established and became a member of the NFA
and registered with the CFTC in July 2000. It provides brokerage and clearing services to independent
floor traders at the Chicago Board of Trade. The managing Partners of
eLocal, Doug Zalesky and Jeff Ganis, have over 40 years of combined experience
in servicing the needs of traders and both are 20 year members of the
CBOT. Under their direction, eLocal expanded the operation to include
electronic futures traders. eLocal was the first firm at the CBOT to offer
a robust, reliable electronic network and infrastructure to the floor
trader community. Shortly thereafter, eLocal offered the network to the
direct access internet futures trader. eLocal quickly gained a reputation
for exceptional, personalized, and dedicated customer support.
The unique and powerful TradeMaven trading software
was originally developed as a volume analysis tool for the futures markets.
As the electronic equity index futures (e-mini's) markets gained popularity
the necessity for user-friendly order entry and management system was
needed. TradeMaven was developed to bring "drag and Drop" features and
"order bracketing" to a small group of traders. The benefits of the trading
software quickly grew into TradeMaven LLC. Established in August, 2003
and under the guidance of owner and software developer Peter Nannis, the
powerful TradeMaven software became available to retail and professional
traders.
The TradeMaven Group combines exceptional customer
service and brokerage services with the best trade execution platform
available. Trademaven Group maintains its offices in the Chicago Board of Trade building
where it services its floor traders and houses the electronic infrastructure
necessary to support its vast trader business.
